These terms describe the kind of agreement that would govern use of Cloak4U, a click fraud protection and bot traffic detection platform. By using the product you would agree to use it lawfully, in line with the policies of any ad platform you advertise on, and only for its intended purpose: detecting and blocking invalid traffic.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Cloak4U, you would agree to these terms. If you use the product on behalf of an organization, you would confirm you are authorized to bind that organization. If you do not agree, you should not use the product.

2. Description of the service

Cloak4U evaluates traffic reaching your landing pages and blocks, challenges, or logs visits that appear to be invalid — bots, proxies, VPN abuse, datacenter traffic, or repeat fraudulent clicks. All valid visitors of a campaign reach the same approved destination. The service reports each decision with a reason code and risk score so it is auditable.

3. Acceptable use

You would agree to use Cloak4U only for lawful, policy-compliant purposes. In particular, you would agree that you must:

Comply with all applicable laws and regulations;
Comply with the policies of every ad platform you use, including Google Ads and Meta Ads;
Only protect destinations you own or are authorized to manage;
Configure detection responsibly and review your logs;
Honor privacy rights of your own visitors where applicable.

You would agree that you must not use Cloak4U to:

Serve ad reviewers, crawlers, or bots different content than you serve real users (deceptive cloaking);
Evade, bypass, or interfere with ad-platform or search-engine review;
Disguise the true destination or nature of a landing page;
Facilitate fraud, malware, phishing, or any illegal activity;
Circumvent the acceptable-use rules of any platform or these terms.

Cloak4U is a protection tool, not a cloaking service. Using it to hide content from reviewers or to serve reviewers and users different pages is a prohibited use and grounds for termination. The product exists to block invalid traffic, with every valid visitor of a campaign resolving to the same approved destination.

4. Accounts

You would be responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You would agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. We could suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that pose a risk to the service or others.

5. Plans, pricing, and billing

Cloak4U offers a free plan and paid tiers. Prices shown on the pricing page are illustrative USD placeholders during development and are not a binding quote. Final pricing, plan limits, billing cadence, and any refund terms would be defined in the checkout flow and confirmed before paid plans launch. Nothing here creates a payment or refund obligation while pricing is a placeholder.

6. No guarantees or warranties

Detection is probabilistic. Cloak4U does not guarantee that every bot or fraudulent click is caught, that no legitimate visitor is ever challenged, or that using the product will result in ad approval, account reinstatement, compliance, conversions, or revenue. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cloak4U and its operators would not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or ad spend, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. A production agreement would typically cap total liability at the amount you paid in a recent period. These limits are examples in this template.

8. Your responsibilities and indemnification

You would be responsible for how you configure and use Cloak4U, including which traffic you block or allow and how you comply with platform policies and law. A production agreement would typically include an indemnity under which you cover claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

9. Intellectual property

The Cloak4U software, brand, and documentation would remain the property of their owners. These terms would grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service according to your plan, and nothing more.

10. Termination

You could stop using Cloak4U at any time. We could suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms — especially prohibited uses such as reviewer evasion or deceptive cloaking — or where required to protect the service. On termination, your right to use the service would end.

11. Changes to these terms

This template will be replaced with finalized terms before general availability. Material changes should be dated and communicated. Continued use after changes take effect would constitute acceptance. Because this document is a placeholder, treat its provisions as examples rather than commitments.
